Compared with tungsten carbide, PDC roof drill bit has the following advantages:
The speed is similar to roof drill bit made by tungsten carbide when it does the drilling to soft rock. While the speed is greater by 10%-30% when it does into the medium-hard rock; in the meanwhile, it solves the problem that the tungsten carbide roof drill bit could hardly do the drilling during the rock-drilling process when f≥8.
